Thoughtfully Designed
Designed by LA-based architectural firm Shubin Donaldson, Casa Duna was built to respect the fragile ecosystem around it: primary structures are constructed from highly efficient recycled materials, solar panels provide both power and hot water, and the gardens are irrigated by waste-water. In addition to breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and Cerralvo Island, and miles of unspoiled beaches, it’s just a 15 minute walk along the sand to the center of town. There, and even in the immediate neighborhood, you’ll find casual restaurants, simple and friendly bars, and even a few small spas.

During your stay at Casa Duna, we invite you to enjoy its awe-inspiring surroundings. While yoga on the beach and relaxing with a book on the roof observatory are family favorites, La Ventana is also a major hub for adventure. Local Expertise
Our resident property manager is happy to arrange anything that might make your stay extra special. Common requests include private kite lessons, airport pickup in Los Cabos, on-site massages, yoga lessons on the patio, fishing expeditions, a private chef, and much more.

Rates vary depending on season, number of guests, holiday periods, and length of stay. Our lowest off-season rates begin at $850 USD per night for small groups. All stays include basic maid service 6 days a week.
Each stay is subject to mandatory Mexican VAT of 16% and Baja California Sur’s 4% lodging services tax.
Casa Cardón, the caretaker’s casita, is no longer available for rent.

The main house at Casa Duna features 3 ocean-front en suite bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is attached to a kids room with two single beds. Casa Pitaya, a detached and private casita a few steps from Casa Duna, sleeps 2 adults and up to 4 children between two rooms.
